Activity Idea: Skateboarding

Particularly in the urban fringe, it would be possible to create a woodland “skatepark”, a construction dedicated to skateboarding.

Skateboards where made by surfers when the waves where too small to practice, and ramps where created to form an artificial wave. The sport has seen resurgence in interest since it’s early 1970’s roots.
