Activity Idea: Quad biking

Quad bikes are four-wheeled heavy-duty bikes.

The controls are similar to a motorbike although the steering is heavy. Courses are often constructed over rolling land, with woodland and a range of terrain.

Because the sport can cause ground compaction and is inherently disturbing, it is not suitable for ancient woodland, or where there is a significant conservation value.
